Turned Stainless (TURN) is an on-going series that began in 2016. The word “turn” is integral to the process, relevant to the method used in working with metal and creating the sculptures. However, Stargaard also says it "means to turn a different direction, and choose to be extraordinary.”
A fusion of art forms, all connected through sculptures, the TURN series was revealed in collaborative way, incorporating yogis, dancers, music and poetry in an integrated performance. Each dancer and yogi chose a sculpture in the series as inspiration for their dance and movements.
